The Process Support Engineer is responsible identifying, leading and executing process improvements to enhance operational efficiencies, waste reduction and overall business performance. This will be executed by utilising Lean Six Sigma tools and other process improvement methodologies.
Key responsibilities;
Lead and facilitate cross functional improvement projectsAnalyse operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reductionCollaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements and cost reduction initiativesMonitor improvements and report resultsConduct Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actionCoach teams on lean tools such as RCA and 5YVarious lines of reporting based on analysis of dataKey Accountabilities;
Lead / support focused line efficiency and process optimisation projects to reduce total manufacturing conversion cost, targeting line efficiency and wasteAdopt structured loss elimination tools like RCA and 5Y and build capability across all teams to identify and eradicate losses and implement standards to prevent recurrenceChampion shop floor continuous improvement change, including support functions, through coaching and influencing employees in ‘zero loss mindset’Identify and establish Best-in-Class (BIC) manufacturing standards through internal/external benchmarking to drive priority setting for strategic objectivesIdentifying and executing productivity projects onsiteHow you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. You will operate and maintain equipment to meet our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards). In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.
