Process Operator
**Job Title: Process Operator** Job Description The Process Operator will work in various areas of Processes/Operations, where they are trained and qualified. They will set up, operate, and assist in the operation of processing and fabrication equipment for insulation materials, ensuring quality and compliance with standards. Responsibilities + Set up and operate processing and fabrication equipment for insulation materials. + Inspect and test in-process products to ensure suitability for use and shipment. + Handle materials and operate waste storage facility at the plant. + Direct plant operators on waste segregation, labeling, and containerization. + Perform duties related to non-hazardous and hazardous waste control. + Maintain inventory control of raw, semi-finished, and finished materials. + Unload and store materials in appropriate locations, maintaining stock records. + Set up machines and equipment, including setting gaps, speeds, and temperatures. + Start equipment and synchronize operations, making necessary adjustments. + Prepare materials by weighing, mixing, and threading machines. + Unload equipment and dispose of materials, ensuring proper identification and recording. Essential Skills + Production and quality check experience. + Proficiency in machine operation and chemical handling. + Inventory control and basic computer skills (MS Excel and MS Word). + Ability to read and execute process and safety instructions. + Ability to perform simple math functions for batch card information. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Manufacturing experience. + Certifications in hazardous waste handling and opacity reading. + Forklift training will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Schenectady, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.59 - $24.59/hr.
