Job Description
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Process Operator in the dynamic field of Ethanol production. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of the facility, which supplies high-quality Ethanol to prominent gas stations within a 40-120 mile radius. Your daily activities will involve a blend of technical and operational tasks, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the production process.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, pumps, and valves.Safely unload materials using a sit-down gas-powered forklift.Monitor and check the temperatures of bearings.Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.Utilize the Distributed Control System (DCS) to oversee and manage production tasks.Enter data using Microsoft Word and Excel for accurate record-keeping.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Chemical Operator.5+ years of safety experience (OSHA standards).3-5 years of experience in LOTO procedures.3+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.Proficiency in chemical handling, compounding, batch making, and fermentation processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forklift operations (1+ year).Proficiency in operating boilers (1-2 years).Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, with familiarity in navigating Excel.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, larger facility as part of a dynamic team of 85 employees. The schedule is designed for optimal work-life balance. Safety is a priority, so you will be required to wear a hard hat, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
