**Job Title: Process Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring the process of drying chemical slurry, tracking production output, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role involves operating industrial dryers, packaging dried products, and documenting processes accurately.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, run, and monitor the drying process of chemical slurry using industrial dryers.
+ Track and record production output via computer systems.
+ Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment as needed.
+ Ensure full understanding of each piece of equipment and control system in the assigned work area.
+ Start up, operate, and shutdown equipment safely.
+ Diagnose equipment issues and understand equipment hazards for safe operation.
+ Understand the role and purpose of each piece of equipment in the process area.
+ Familiarize yourself with the equipment layout and its impact on surrounding processes and storage areas.
+ Follow operating procedures, including process, safety, and maintenance protocols.
+ Recognize process and chemical hazards in the area to maintain a safe working environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in operating process equipment.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
+ Proficiency in using computers for documentation and tracking production output.
+ Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to chemical processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1-2 years of process equipment operations experience.
+ Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for process equipment.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of AVENEL, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
