**Job Description** We are looking to hire candidates to assist with the upcoming corn harvest! You will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment while also doing other related tasks that are vital to the corn manufacturing process. If you are looking to work for an easy-going team environment, and are seeking a competitive paying opportunity that offers plenty of overtime, please apply. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and maintain seed crops, support seed inventory management. + Receive and process trucks, conduct husk and sort operations, operate dryers, manage shelling and storage of crops, supply the Conditioning department, and apply seed treatments. + Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed, enter inventory information into computer systems, stage seed for shipment. + Retag in-house seed, re-bag returned seed, inspect and clean pro boxes as needed. + Monitor and operate equipment and facilities, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. **Preferred Experience** + Knowledge of production agriculture and plant operations. + Ability to safely perform duties while maintaining seed quality. + Proficiency in operating computer systems as needed. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. + Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds, work in and outdoors, and walk on uneven surfaces. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Adaptability to changing conditions and ability to anticipate needs. + Capability to make independent decisions. + Pass a compliance check and other pre-employment screenings. + Reliable transportation to the work site. **Work Environment** *Only applies when harvest season begins* - Work involves rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with up to 10-12 hours per day. Shift possibilities include Sunday - Thursday and Saturday - Friday, with a 2-3-2 rotation depending on the season. A shift differential of **$3 ($22/hr)** is offered for hours worked between 2pm - 10pm, and **$2 ($21/hr)** for hours worked between 10pm - 6am. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
