Job Description
Join our team as a Process Operator, where you will play a critical role in setting up, running, and monitoring the drying process of chemical slurry. Your expertise will be essential in tracking and recording production output using computer systems while ensuring the efficient operation of an industrial dryer to dry, package, and document the wet product.
ResponsibilitiesSet up, run, and monitor the drying process of chemical slurry.Track and record production output via computer systems.Operate an industrial dryer to dry wet products, package, and document them.Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment.Understand each piece of equipment and control system in the assigned work area.Start up, operate, and shut down equipment safely.Diagnose equipment issues and understand equipment hazards.Familiarize with equipment use, layout, and its impact on surrounding processes and storage areas.Comprehend operating procedures related to process, safety, and maintenance.Recognize process and chemical hazards in the work area.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.Proficiency in operating chemical process equipment.Experience with computers and documentation.Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
