Process Operations Manager
**About the Role** You will own critical driver-partner-facing processes across Uber’s ANZ markets, ensuring they operate effectively, remain compliant with local regulations, and deliver a seamless experience for driver-partners. The role focuses on improving outcomes for Uber, regulators, and driver-partners through strong process design, execution, and assurance, while leading initiatives to remediate gaps and unlock value through automation and offshoring. You will also manage and develop junior team members locally and offshore support functions, driving high standards of delivery and accountability. **What You'll Do** 1. **Design, project-manage, and oversee the execution of driver-partner-facing processes** that enable new product launches and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, with driver-partner safety and experience at the core. This includes partnering closely with a broad range of cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 2. **Continuously challenge and improve process design and execution** to reduce operational risk and unlock efficiency gains, leveraging offshore teams and technology, including automation and artificial intelligence. 3. **Design and implement quality controls**, monitor process performance, and analyse data to identify operational issues and pain points, owning end-to-end initiatives that drive resolution and continuous improvement. 4. **Lead responses to regulator queries and data requests** for processes you own, building deep technical expertise to challenge complex SQL queries, validate data analyses, and quality-assure the setup and operation of critical compliance tools. 5. **Own and manage the tools and systems that govern driver-partner access to the Uber platform**, ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering a seamless onboarding and ongoing driver-partner experience. 6. **Manage, coach, and develop junior team members** locally and offshore, setting clear priorities, challenging problem-solving approaches, and guiding teams toward effective root-cause remediation. **What You'll Need** 1. Previous experience working in consulting (with data, technical and/ or risk exposure). Dry risk & compliance background likely won't work. 2. Experience working with Google Sheets/ Excel **Preferred qualifications** 1. Engineering degree desirable 2. Project management qualifications 3. Experience in SQL 4.
