Process Improvement Consultant
Our client, a leading national wholesaler serving the restaurant industry, is seeking an experienced **Process Improvement Consultant** for a 4+ month engagement. This fully remote role will focus on enhancing Accounts Payable workflows, strengthening controls, improving efficiency, and developing productivity reporting. The ideal consultant will bring strong accounting expertise, a process‑driven mindset, and the ability to create clear documentation and metrics that support accuracy and accountability across AP operations. **Job Title: Process Improvement Consultant – Accounts Payable** **Location:** Fully remote **Pay Rate:** $50-$60/hour (W2, based on experience). **What’s the Job?** + Document current Accounts Payable processes and identify opportunities for improvement. + Develop productivity metrics and reporting to measure invoice processing volume and enhance team accountability. + Perform vendor master data cleanup and validation to strengthen controls and reduce fraud risk. + Create process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures to support consistency and training. + Analyze AP performance data and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend efficiency improvements. **What’s Needed?** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Minimum of 7 years of related experience. + Strong background in Accounts Payable, Accounting, and FP&A. + Experience with process improvement, workflow documentation, and operational reporting. + Ability to analyze complex data and develop clear, actionable insights. **What’s in it for me?** + Optional Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k. + Weekly pay with direct deposit. + Consultant Care Support. + Free Training to upgrade your skills. + Dedicated Career Partner to help you achieve your career goals.
