Join our Heat Treatment Services Team as a Process Engineer, where you will analyze and optimize industrial processes to enhance product and process quality while reducing costs. This role involves designing new processes, documenting them, troubleshooting, and conducting process analyses and optimizations, including time studies. You will review furnace logs to ensure proper functioning, troubleshoot issues, assess quotes to determine processes, and collaborate directly with the quality team. The role requires remote on-call support, with a laptop provided to monitor furnaces and offer assistance without needing to be onsite.
ResponsibilitiesDiligently maintain the facility’s master heat treatment process library.Support the development of new processes, including pre and post-heat treatment services such as part cleaning, washing, blasting, RP application, and heat treatment services.Assist and consult with personnel performing equipment/instrument calibrations and verifications to maintain compliance with industry-specific standards.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QMS documentation such as SOPs, Control Plans, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, RCA, CAPAs, and Testing/Prototyping/Product and Process development.Essential Skills3+ years of process engineering experience.Knowledge of metals and metal processes.Strong mechanical aptitude.Experience implementing 5S practices.Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.Additional Skills & QualificationsHeat treating industry experience.Familiarity with IATF or ISO standards.Work EnvironmentThis role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for advancement in a growing company. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.30/hr.
