Job Title: Process Engineer Job Description The Process Engineer collaborates with Plant Managers, Cell Managers, and other relevant parties to evaluate and enhance existing production-related processes and workflows. The role involves analyzing and tracking various metrics to promote continuous improvement and problem resolution, initiating change in collaboration with management and pertinent departments. Responsibilities + Assess and optimize existing production-related processes and workflows. + Analyze and track metrics to foster continuous improvement. + Collaborate with management and pertinent departments to initiate change. + Problem resolution and process improvement. Essential Skills + 5+ years of manufacturing experience or successful completion of internal apprenticeship program. + Familiarity with engineering grade resins and microprocessor-controlled machines. + Experience in setting up machines, programming, and troubleshooting equipment. + Ability to work with minimal supervision. + Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. + Advanced computer experience and proficiency. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and SOPs. + Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Problem-solving involving several variables in working situations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bs in Engineering or 8 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Work Environment The work environment involves working with manufacturing engineering processes, which may include handling engineering grade resins and operating microprocessor-controlled machines.
