Process Engineer

Process Engineer

The Process Engineer collaborates with Plant Managers, Cell Managers, and other relevant parties to evaluate and enhance existing production-related processes and workflows. The role involves analyzing and tracking various metrics to promote continuous improvement and problem resolution, initiating change in collaboration with management and pertinent departments.

Responsibilities

Assess and optimize existing production-related processes and workflows.Analyze and track metrics to foster continuous improvement.Collaborate with management and pertinent departments to initiate change.Problem resolution and process improvement.

Essential Skills

5+ years of manufacturing experience or successful completion of internal apprenticeship program.Familiarity with engineering grade resins and microprocessor-controlled machines.Experience in setting up machines, programming, and troubleshooting equipment.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.Advanced computer experience and proficiency.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and SOPs.Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Problem-solving involving several variables in working situations.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working with manufacturing engineering processes, which may include handling engineering grade resins and operating microprocessor-controlled machines. The role requires minimal supervision and a keen attention to detail. The facility encourages a collaborative approach and provides opportunities for continuous learning and improvement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Skaneateles, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
