Are you looking to make an impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading pulp and paper producer, is seeking a **Process Engineer** to optimize mill operations, enhance product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Work a rotating schedule, both day and night shifts, along with rotating weekends
+ Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, throughput, and cost savings.
+ Lead and implement process improvement and capital projects from concept to completion.
+ Monitor KPIs, troubleshoot process deviations, and ensure consistent product quality.
+ Partner closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and vendor teams to drive results.
+ Support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
+ Utilize data analysis tools to report performance insights to leadership.
+ Provide technical training and develop SOPs to support the operations team.
+ Stay current on industry best practices and help drive modernization initiatives.
**Highly qualified candidates will have:**
+ A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or a related discipline.
+ 1–3 years of manufacturing experience
+ Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
+ Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP and a strong commitment to safety.
**This position comes with:**
+ A salary of $80-$90K
