Are you looking to make an impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading pulp and paper producer, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize mill operations, enhance product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will:

  Work a rotating schedule, both day and night shifts, along with rotating weekends Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, throughput, and cost savings. Lead and implement process improvement and capital projects from concept to completion. Monitor KPIs, troubleshoot process deviations, and ensure consistent product quality. Partner closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and vendor teams to drive results. Support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. Utilize data analysis tools to report performance insights to leadership. Provide technical training and develop SOPs to support the operations team. Stay current on industry best practices and help drive modernization initiatives.Highly qualified candidates will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or a related discipline. 1–3 years of manufacturing experience Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP and a strong commitment to safety.
