Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to support our the Propellant Mixing Process Engineering team at our Bacchus (Magna Utah) facility.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
Developing and improving propellant manufacturing processPerforming cause and corrective action activities to permanently eliminate defectsWorking with concurrent engineering team to create Build-to-Packages (i.e. engineering and planning documents)Authoring, updating and reviewing shop floor planningPreparing and presenting technical presentations to VSET, leadership, and to the customers for review and approvalPerforming table top reviews with the operations teamUsing SPC tools to ensure process controlDeveloping and incorporating process improvementsControl system checkouts to verify functionalityTroubleshooting production/tooling/facility issues and implementing improvements and solutionsSupporting design, checkout, qualification and implementation of new or modified tooling or equipmentTroubleshooting production/tooling/facility issues and implementing improvements and solutionsSupporting design, checkout, qualification and implementation of new or modified processes, tooling and equipmentNorthrop Grumman offers a competitive and robust benefits program. B.S. degree in STEM Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering (other technical degrees may be considered 2 years of experience or 0 years with a Master's. Interpreting blueprints and specificationsStrong interpersonal and Customer Service SkillsProcess Controls (SPC)Level 3

(preferred)Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $123,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
