Who we are looking for
State Street seeks to recruit a Technology Process Assurance Assistant Vice President to contribute to the enablement of process integrity for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of technology-related processes across the organization. This candidate should have experience in delivering outcomes with operational excellence and a focus on the customer and business needs. This candidate should have experience driving the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT process frameworks, with a strong emphasis on mitigating risks, enhancing security and availability, and aligning IT operations with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring a practical, risk-based mindset to the role and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
This role will report into the Vice President, Technology Controls Assurance Programs.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
This role will be primarily based in US (preferably Boston) and will consider candidates based in EMEA and APAC regions.
What you will be responsible for
Partner with the relevant functions and leaders to:
Review current standards based on authoritative sources to fulfill regulatory and client expectationsEmbed risk considerations into process maps, highlighting critical control points (e.g., privileged access, data flows) to support security and compliance effortsAnalyze existing technology processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and gaps in execution and/or risk mitigationRecommend process improvements to streamline IT workflows, enhance performance, and reduce operational frictionUnderstand and document gaps against optimal process effectiveness and work with CIO directs to develop remediation actions or supporting strategic programs necessary to address gapsPartner IT, cybersecurity, and business risk leaders to ensure process maps, and related documentation, align with the broader organizational goals, compliance requirements, and risk management frameworksAct as a champion for process visibility and accountability across the technology organizationWhat we value:

Minimum of 3+ years of related experience within the financial services industry (preferred) including leading risk and controls assurance programsStrong understanding of process-based business management, and deep experience integrating risk and controls frameworks within business processesExtensive experience working with large, complex third parties, who are critical to the success of the programBachelors / master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Accounting, or related technical field or relevant work experience.Exceptional communication skills and relationship management capabilities, able to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively and across Operations and Technology subject matter expertsWe offer

Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
