Process Assistants form an integral part of Amazon Middle Mile operations, contributing significantly to the team's dynamic growth. Process Assistants are responsible for daily management of department duties including: allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, providing work direction and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
- Maintain a safe workplace by following Safety SOPs ensuring the well-being of all personnel and the integrity of Amazon operations
- Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties etc
- Support associates to deliver great service and supervise them in their daily tasks
- Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and provide important shift information to front-line management to ensure operational excellence across shifts
- Support the Shift/Area Manager with projects to improve processes, cultivate a safe working environment, and increase workforce engagement
- Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
- Understand workflow and daily production goals
- Ensure successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
- Identify and address safety hazards within the work area, and participate in safety initiatives
- Coach associates on ways to work safely at all times
- Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance
- Provide coverage for Shift Managers
