This role plays an important part in creating a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. If you’re hands-on, dependable, and enjoy working in a clinical setting, this is a great opportunity to be part of a rehab team that makes a difference every day. **What You’ll Do** + Prepare treatment areas before sessions and clean/reset spaces afterward + Assist with equipment setup and basic patient support during therapy + Transport inpatients to and from therapy appointments + Clean, maintain, and track therapy equipment per department standards + Help with front desk duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling, and patient check-in/out + Deliver and retrieve supplies, paperwork, mail, and equipment as needed + Support quality improvement, safety, and departmental performance initiatives + Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards + Provide courteous, age-appropriate service to patients and families **What You’ll Need** + High school diploma or equivalent + Previous medically related experience (rehab tech, nursing assistant, patient transport, etc.) + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper body mechanics + Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and carry throughout the shift **Preferred** + Coursework or training in patient care **Ready to Get Moving?** If you’re organized, energetic, and ready to support patients on their road to recovery, **apply today and join our rehabilitation team!** **Working at University Health is about making a difference.
