Job Description:

Join the Private Bank's E&F Team based in New York as an Analyst or Associate (depending on skill set + years of experience). The successful candidate will be a member of the Private Bank’s Endowments and Foundations Portfolio Management team.  The team is responsible for managing global, multi-asset portfolios on a discretionary basis.  Our clients are endowments, foundations, and large families who are seeking an institutional investment approach.  The team performs original research to make strategic, tactical, and vehicle-level decisions across traditional and alternative asset classes.  The team comprises individuals in New York, London, and Mumbai and is highly collaborative across regions and with other teams within the firm.  With nearly $30 billion in assets under management, the team currently serves clients in the US, EMEA, and Latin America.

Job Responsibilities:

Play a central role in trade planning, pre-trade and post-trade analysis, and performance analysisCreate and maintain tools used in the portfolio management processAssist with investment research, working with the CIO and other PMs on the teamPerform analysis of investment vehicles, portfolios, peer universes, and potential investmentsProduce materials that summarize positioning, outlook, and investment rationaleCollaborate with global internal partners including client advisors, trade execution specialists, and 3rd party manager due diligence

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree and/or CFA charter holder a plusFluency with data systems such as Excel, Python, Bloomberg, and FactSetOutstanding attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to work under time pressureCan-do attitude, strong organizational skills, ability to interact with peers and more senior people on this team and other internal partnersMarkets knowledge and passion to learn moreAbility to thrive in a collaborative environment on a global teamStrong analytical and communication skills
