Printing Press Operator Details:

Direct Hire position$26.00 to $30.00 /hourThird Shift (Monday through Friday)Set up, operate, and maintain printing presses, including digital, lithographic, flexographic, and gravure equipmentProduce printed materials such as magazines, flyers, and packaging according to specificationsMonitor press runs to ensure color accuracy, print quality, and consistencyPerform quality control checks and make real-time adjustments as needed Load and manage plates, ink, and other press materialsTroubleshoot mechanical and print-quality issues during production Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on press equipmentManage press supplies and maintain an organized work area Follow safety, quality, and production standards at all timesCollaborate with prepress and production teams to ensure job requirements are met

Printing Press Operator Qualifications:

Setup & Preparation: Interpret job orders; prepare plates; load paper and ink; adjust machine settings; and configure digital filesMaintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on press equipment; change plates, blankets, or cylinders as neededQuality Control: Inspect printed materials for defects, ensuring color accuracy and clear, accurate text and imagesRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate production logs and inventory records
