Printing Press Operator
Hours are 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday and pay is $15.00-$18.00 depending on experience. Benefits will be offered upon permanent hire as well as vacation. Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following: · Read and interpret job orders. · Make ready, operate and maintain multi-unit sheet fed printing press. · Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. · Check print quality throughout runs. · Troubleshoot press problems as they occur. · Perform preventative maintenances. Required Skills/Abilities: · Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment · Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to work under minimal supervision · Good attendance · Some heavy lifting · Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and decimals. · Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Education/Experience: · High School Diploma preferred, technical school education, or equivalent. · Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
