**Job Title: Printing Press Machine Operator 1st and 3rd shift** **$23-35/hr DOE and shift** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Printing Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate a multi-color Heidelberg Printing Press, digital printing, machine set up, or prepress experience. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our print production, and requires prior experience in the print industry. Responsibilities + Run the printing press according to the production schedule. + Inspect printed products before and during the press run, adjusting settings and ink density as needed for quality reproduction, or shut down the press to make adjustments. + Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, including checking raw stock, printing plates, and inks for proper specifications, and setting up the press with the necessary materials for scheduled orders. + Complete necessary documentation, including product count and production details, and report any equipment malfunctions or issues with raw materials. + Follow safety standards and maintain a clean press area. + Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned. Essential Skills + Experience with printing, print operation, jet press, digital printing, envelope press, and machine setup. + Knowledge of color management principles to ensure high-quality print results. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Previous experience as a Heidelberg Press Operator. + At least 1 year of printing experience. + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). + Ability to read a ruler. + Effective communication and writing skills in English. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
