**🖨️** **Job Title:** **Machine Operator – Heidelberg Press** **🕒 Shift:** 3rd Shift – Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM **💵 Pay:** Up to $35/hour (based on interview) **📋 Type:** Contract to Hire – Long-term opportunity **Job Overview** We’re looking for a skilled **Machine Operator** with experience in the print industry to join our team on 3rd shift. This role involves operating a **Heidelberg Printing Press** , making live adjustments, and ensuring consistent, high-quality output. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced production environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Operate Heidelberg press according to production schedule + Inspect printed materials during runs and adjust ink, settings, or shut down press as needed + Load raw stock and set up printing plates and ink for scheduled jobs + Complete documentation for product counts, delays, and production notes + Report equipment issues or material concerns to supervisors + Maintain a clean and safe press area + Support additional tasks and projects as assigned **Required Skills** + Experience operating Heidelberg or similar offset printing presses + Understanding of color management and print quality standards + Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability **Additional Qualifications** + Minimum 1 year of printing experience + Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) + Ability to read a ruler + Clear communication and writing skills in English **Why Work Here** + Friendly, respectful work culture + Steady full-time hours with a consistent schedule + Opportunity for direct hire with full benefits after evaluation period + Occasional extended shifts available on Fridays/Saturdays **Work Environment** + Work independently and in pairs with Operators and Adjusters + Rotate between 8 machines as needed + Climate-controlled but loud environment (ear protection provided) + Must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts, bend frequently, and lift 20–50 lbs **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
