Printer Maintenance Associate
Job Title: Printer Maintenance Associate Location: St. Louis, MO Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5 pm Pay: $18.91 - $23.36 This position does require 25%-50% Driving, using your own personal vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed. Must have a valid US Driver's license and no more than on moving violation in the past three years. Essential Functions: Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service Coordinate Move/Add/Change (MAC) processes Provide ongoing end-user training on office equipment Perform basic device cleaning and replacement of operator-accessible parts and consumables per equipment specifications Perform break-fix activities (approximately 70% of role responsibilities) Provide IP address support and perform basic equipment problem diagnosis Act as point of contact for equipment removal and delivery for onsite support Contact service providers as required (Xerox and third-party vendors) Utilize Xerox web-based applications, including Service Call Handling Accurately report service calls and equipment activity in Xerox-designated systems Provide onsite support for remote service calls; driving may be required Download and install printer drivers on end-user equipment Perform printer mapping to PCs as required Escalate printer network issues to appropriate resources Perform physical and remote device management and control Configure devices (IP addressing, scanning templates, user access levels, scan-to-file/email, etc.) Monitor and apply current software updates and patches Serve as onsite contact for remote solve resolutions requiring technical expertise Manage non-Xerox devices as required Perform remote device monitoring and remote solve using Xerox Device Management tools Identify and promote Xerox Office Solutions Proactively manage consumables and supplies using the DOS calculator Maintain onsite operator-replaceable parts inventory Collect equipment meter readings and submit for billing Perform data entry for activity and asset tracking Manage and maintain onsite parts inventory using PM4 Skills: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to read, write, and follow basic English instructions Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload Ability to work with minimal supervision Basic equipment problem-solving and diagnostic skills (training provided) Customer issue resolution skills, including escalation when necessary Ability to coordinate tasks to ensure fulfillment of Statements of Work (SOWs) Ability to track and report account information as required Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience resolving customer and equipment printing issues Education: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
