Print Production Associate
**Job Title:** Print Production Specialist **Location:** Louisville, KY **Job Type:** Hourly Consultant **Hours:** M-F 8 am to 5 pm **Pay:** $22/hr There is no vacation or holiday pay with this role. You can take time off, it would be unpaid. This position is at a local college. **Essential Functions:** + Operate digital, color, and high-volume print and copy equipment to meet contracted customer requirements + Serve as the primary point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer print jobs + Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production work to ensure timely delivery + Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run + Optimize document design for quality reproduction, including inspection of fonts, image resolution, and registration + Integrate variable data files into print templates and perform file/document conversions using standard software + Sort and scan hardcopy materials for print or digital distribution + Track, archive, and back up production files for future reuse per customer requirements + Operate standard finishing equipment such as paper cutters, laminators, hole punchers, folders, and high-volume inserting/mail equipment + Process and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes and maintain logs for billing purposes + Maintain production records, reporting logs, and meter reads + Perform operator-level maintenance and cleaning of production and office equipment + Troubleshoot production or equipment issues and coordinate service support through appropriate systems + Apply asset tags, track inventory, and coordinate move/add/change activities for office equipment at customer locations + Collect production data and support billing documentation + Provide basic training and operational guidance to customer end-users + Coordinate with Xerox and/or third-party vendors for supplies and service needs + Assist in developing work processes, job templates, and workflow improvements + Lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds **Skills:** + Strong computer proficiency, including keyboard, file management, and network device navigation + Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including: + Creating spreadsheets and using standard formulas + Sorting, filtering, and generating charts + Importing/exporting data and embedding files + Moving data between applications + Ability to send/receive email, manage documents, and perform accurate data entry + Familiarity with web browsers and sending documents to network printers + Basic math skills (multiplication, division, percentages) + Professional customer service skills and business maturity + Ability to coach and mentor coworkers + Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills **Experience:** + Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service environment + Prior experience in print production, reprographics, mail services, or document management preferred **Education:** + Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent + Required: Post–high school technology training or relevant technical experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
