Job Summary including Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs power, controls, and process instrumentation per the NEC, including hazardous classified locations.Provide detailed cost estimates for project design and implementation.Troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment.Develop electrical maintenance guidelines for industrial equipment.Knowledge of performing Arc Flash AnalysisKnowledge or experience with ETAP or EasyPower softwareExpertise to develop electrical schematics and one-line diagrams that are logical, well-organized, and require little to no redlinesExpertise in Power DistributionWork with maintenance craftsmen to troubleshoot.Project management and cost estimating.Provide Detailed Project Designs in AutoCAD drawing format.As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package, including:

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of Engineering experience or 3 years with a Master's in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, ControlKnowledge and ability to use Lean Manufacturing tools
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience.
Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems.
Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings.
Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
Knowledge of PLC equipment, VFDs, Motor Control Centers
Experience with ETAP or related software is preferred
Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
