Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Test Engineer based out of McClellan, CA.

What You’ll get to Do:
Join our NGMS Strategic Intelligence and Data Exploitation (SIDE) Operating Unit (OU) and support the design, development, testing, analyzing, benchmarking, validating and verifying, documenting, and integrating Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities.

Essential Functions:

Test new capabilities, documenting new features, and analyzing simulation performance

Work with product and development teams, as well as external users and customers, to determine acceptance criteria for new features

Support the agile software team within the context of a larger team

Interface with SIGINT customers and presenting technical briefings to SIGINT stakeholders

Support SIGINT captures from an operational point of view (voice of the customer)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in a technical discipline and 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD and 1 year of relevant experience; an additional 4 years' relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Experience conducting operational and/or technical SIGINT (i.e., COMINT, or ELIINT) analysis

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs

US Citizenship and active/current DoD Top Secret clearance are required and must have the ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

Multi-ISR experience working with external users and customers

CI Polygraph

Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
