As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Asset & Wealth Management Technology Team, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. The Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Technology Strategy team partners with senior leaders to define and execute technology priorities, drive strategic initiatives, and support decision-making across the organization. Your problem-solving skills will help deliver projects that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.

Job responsibilities

Lead the development technology strategy and priorities, and execution and delivery across the technology and business teamsScope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and qualify the implications and “so whats”Conduct research and analysis on technology trends and innovation opportunities and perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sourcesWork with team to develop work plans to test / evaluate strategies and insights which could span process improvement, organizational change, and functional strategy effortsPrepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and communicationsAdvise and influence senior leaders and executives on key business decisions and major change initiativesDevelop deep trust-based advisor relationships with key stakeholders and ensure client is satisfied throughout engagementWork collaboratively with team members across lines of business and cross-functional teams; maintain composure and presence in difficult stakeholder meetsIdentify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizationsDemonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activitiesProven track record of leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolveStrong technical fluency, with deep familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologiesExcellent and efficient skills using spreadsheets, presentation tools and AI applicationsDesign and lead the planning and coordination of leadership meetings and strategic events Lead one or more client projects, including managing multiple people across several workstreamsCollaborate with the team to build hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps for solutionsDevelop junior team members both formally and informally, including serving as a mentor
