Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. MSP builds and operates software, hardware, and processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move many millions of units of inventory, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure that customers get what they want when we promised we would get it to them.
We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well, while relying on people to handle things that humans do well. MSP Pack team builds and maintains core software and services in Amazon Fulfillment Centers that help pack items into packages to be shipped to our customers worldwide. Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the end-to-end testing and launch processes for strategic Pack, SLAM and Sort products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Drive cross-organizational alignment by facilitating communication and collaboration between diverse teams such as product, engineering, business operations, legal, accounting, compliance, and finance.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the successful testing and launch of Pack/SLAM and Sort products.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure program objectives are met on time and within budget.
Lead regular status meetings and provide executive-level updates on program progress, challenges, and successes.
Collaborate with the product team to ensure that testing and launch processes align with overall product strategy and customer requirements.
Work closely with the engineering team to resolve technical challenges and optimize product performance throughout the testing phase.
Coordinate with business operations to ensure smooth integration of new products into existing operational frameworks.
Liaise with legal, accounting, and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and standards.
Partner with the finance team to ensure requirement adherence throughout the testing and launch processes.
Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes in the satellite communications sector.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
