Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Internal Process Design and Implementation: Define, design, and implement processes and process improvement within the technical organization. Deploy tools and implement Agile methodology.

Compliance Support: Create and manage compliance policies, standards, and processes; manage audit and compliance reviews; conduct process and quality reviews and audits; conduct vendor management and relations; oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Financial Oversight: Conduct financial modeling and analysis. Prepare and review business cases. Manage IT project management, front door process and financials.

Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain metrics, scorecards, and performance analyses. Identify performance gaps and recommend solutions.

Planning and Strategy: Coordinate infrastructure programs and manage roadmaps. Engage in strategic and tactical planning activities. Create communications for technical organizations.

Technical Impact Assessment & Solution LeadershipServe as the recognized technical authority for the assigned business portfolio, maintaining deep expertise in underlying technologies, systems architecture, and operational processes.Lead the end-to-end technical impact assessment for all proposed product, technology, and network changes, including requirements gathering, feasibility analysis, integration mapping, and risk identification.Conduct comprehensive process modeling and data analysis to quantify change impacts on key business metrics (e.g., order accuracy, service fulfillment cycle times, customer support resolution rates).Collaborate with system architects, engineers, and IT partners to identify upstream and downstream dependencies, interface points, and critical system constraints.Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, such as business case justifications, impact statements, integration diagrams, and mitigation plans.

Business Strategy Development Partner with executive leadership to translate enterprise goals into actionable business strategies for the assigned portfolio, integrating technology roadmaps and process optimization initiatives. Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and operational efficiency, using market research, benchmarking, and internal data analytics. Facilitate strategy workshops and cross-functional sessions to align business, technology, and operational leaders on portfolio direction and investment decisions. Build business cases for new initiatives, quantifying expected benefits, resource requirements, and ROI to support executive decision-making. Regularly monitor industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the assigned portfolio, proactively recommending strategic adjustments.

Change Implementation & Project Management Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and validation of complex change initiatives, ensuring technical and operational requirements are translated into effective project plans. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk registers, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met. Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of new business processes and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with operational standards and compliance requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), pilot deployments, and post-launch reviews, gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement. Monitor and report on key operational and customer experience metrics, identifying opportunities to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.

Stakeholder Management & Influence Act as the principal liaison for assigned VP/GMs, providing expert consultation, status updates, and impact analyses on all change initiatives within the portfolio and their leadership team. For the principals, that means the VP, their GM team who is responsible for 2-4k employees. Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, clearly articulating technical findings, business implications, and recommended actions in both written and verbal formats. Build and maintain strong working relationships across business operations, IT, product, and partner organizations to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives. Lead consensus-building efforts to resolve conflicts, overcome organizational barriers, and secure commitment to customer-centric solutions. Facilitate regular stakeholder forums, workshops, and steering committee meetings to drive engagement, share progress, and address escalations.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation Continuously scan the operational landscape to identify inefficiencies, process bottlenecks, and root causes of recurring issues, leveraging data analytics and automation tools. Design and implement process enhancements and technology upgrades, applying best practices such as Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or Agile methodologies.Champion a culture of innovation by piloting emerging technologies, digital tools, and automation initiatives that improve operational performance and customer experience. Track and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, adjusting strategies and tactics based on real-time data and stakeholder feedback. Mentor and coach team members and stakeholders on technical best practices, process optimization, and change adoption.


What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Business.

7+ years of related experience.

Certification is required in some areas.
