JOB TITLE: Principal System Engineering

DUTIES: Provide Technical leadership in the design, development, and delivery of innovative and best‐in‐class solutions. Lead a team of analysts and software engineers in organizational transformation initiatives. Exercise leadership provided by assigning work and resolving issues for Major Release and Agile Test team initiatives. Provide technical thought leadership and contribute to solutions across teams & organizations. Provide leadership for the Major release and Agile test team initiatives to ensure overall proposed solution requirements are met, designed, developed, and implemented to realize speed, quality, and cost benefits. Manage and exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results and value for the organization. Lead and manage Defect pre‐production team and assign tasks to internal as well as offshore individuals to drive defects for path forward and closure in key strategic initiatives. Establish centralized Defect management team driving, strategy, and approach for managing successful delivery of multiphase key strategic programs and release launches. Lead Defect Prevention Management initiatives to minimize defect leakage to production by hosting daily war rooms that involves collaboration and escalation up to Senior Leadership levels for resolution. Determine root cause accuracy, work with test team to determine key learning's and corrective actions by leading retrospectives. Analyze defects, tracking/reporting to determine trends, and produce standard reports and comparisons among applications and technologies. Utilize knowledge of quality engineering, business, industry, and technology to incorporate process improvements and manage continuous process improvements for operations and practices. Work in knowledge acquisition of evolving technology, techniques, & skills Establish, develop, & market technical solutions focused on realization of speed, quality, and cost benefits. Optimize operations through the application of technology and people and/or process in Major Release and Agile Team initiatives. Promote a technical culture of continuous improvement

by example. Promote a data driven culture that identifies opportunities & pursues excellence based on KPIs. Establish test metrics to measure implementation of shift‐left strategies, requirements defect clarifications, requirement traceability coverage and metrics associated with surveys, and feedback provided for the Major Release and Agile test team initiatives. Collaborate with management from development, business analysis, project management, solution architecture, and vendor partners to ensure alignment of Agile test team/QE processes across IT Lifecycle. Take lead on key strategic initiatives, organizational change management, and process improvement efforts. Specialize in real-time monitoring of alerts and events with Dynatrace and accelerate defect resolution using Elastic Search for log analysis, working on automated regression tests, and quality gates. Apply expertise with Mulesoft Anypoint including managing complex flows, error handling, and defect troubleshooting. Utilize continuous integration and continuous testing tools including Katalon and automation testing for Salesforce UX design and pages to ensure comprehensive regression testing. Apply knowledge with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of software applications.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Telecommunications Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation leading a team of analysts and software engineers in organizational transformation initiatives; providing technical thought leadership and contributing to solutions across teams and organizations; providing leadership for the Major release and Agile test team initiatives to ensure overall proposed solution requirements are met, designed, developed, and implemented to realize speed, quality, and cost benefits; analyzing defects, tracking/reporting to determine trends, and producing standard reports and comparisons among applications and technologies; specializing in real-time monitoring of alerts and events with Dynatrace and accelerating defect resolution using Elastic Search for log analysis, working on automated regression tests, and quality gates; applying expertise with Mulesoft Anypoint including managing complex flows, error handling, and defect troubleshooting; utilizing continuous integration and continuous testing tools including Katalon and automation testing for Salesforce UX design and pages to ensure comprehensive regression testing; applying knowledge with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of software applications.
