This position will be supporting the **Propulsion Systems Division** at our facility located in **Magna, UT.** **_Role Description & Responsibilities:_** The Project Engineer is responsible for establishment and execution of all technical aspects of development or loaded motor design. This position will manage the loaded motor Integrated product team through CDR and into production for the NGI program. **_Job Duties:_** • Manage material testing for propellant and liner materials • Incorporate TPS and LPS design for LM • Coordinate with both internal NG and external LM and USG customers • Assemble and develop efficient cross functional teams across hardware teams to execute qualification static tests. • Ensure qualification static test objectives are met and coordinated with hardware teams. • Develop engineering execution plan to meet master schedules. • Coordination and implementation of design and analysis activities associated with qualification testing. • Development of test plans and coordination of testing with test engineers • Identification of risks/mitigations and tracking to closure in Risk Tracker • Coordination and Conducting test readiness reviews • Lead problem and failure investigations • Write technical reports • Presentations – internal and external • Ability to Travel expectation of 5% – 10% **_Basic Qualifications_** **_:_** • Principal level: Candidate must 5 years experience with a BS or 3 years with MS in engineering • Sr. Principal level: Candidate must have 8 years of experience with a BS or 6 years with MS in engineering • Candidate must have demonstrated ability to: • Plan and execute complex, fast paced projects • Communicate technically complex topics and scenarios clearly and concisely • Build relationships necessary to function efficient teams • Be capable of actively and efficiently working multiple projects • Have the ability to get work done through others • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance • U.S. Citizenship is required **_Position Benefits:_** As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage • 401k • Educational Assistance • Life Insurance • Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions • Paid Time Off • Health & Wellness Resources • Employee Discounts Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
