At AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future—you’ll build it. **What you’ll do:** + **Design, Development and Coding:** Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. + **Collaboration and Communication:** Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. + **Testing and Debugging:** Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting. + **Maintenance and Support:** Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues. + **Deployment:** Facilitate and support the software deployment process. **What you’ll need:** As a Principal Software Engineering, you will be responsible for design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, with a focus on AIOps (Artificial Intelligence), AI Modeling, and Agentic AI. Ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices. An expert in their field, applying broad business/network knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues. Expert in AI, Agentic AI, and multiple programming languages, with a track record of designing and delivering complex AI driven solutions and applications.
