Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking Principal / Senior Principal Test Infrastructure Planning Support Systems Engineer.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Program/System Level Role, within I&T Directorate.
Identify, design, and implement infrastructure resources needed to successfully support test strategies and plans developed by Test Planning Lead and individual event Test Plan Teams. Partner with SIL team for infrastructure strategies to further reduce risk working on a large and complex system that incorporates mature and emerging technologies across multiple segments
This position will serve on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area OR Redondo Beach, CA.
This requisition may be filled as a Principal Test Infrastructure Planning Support Systems Engineer or Senior Principal Test Infrastructure Planning Support Systems Engineer.
This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Test Infrastructure Planning Support Systems Engineer:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; OR 1 years with a PhD
Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
Experience designing, implementing and maintaining environments to support Integration and Testing of complex hardware and software systems
Understanding of Hardware and Software testing methodologies
Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Current active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Test Infrastructure Planning Support Systems Engineer:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with at least 8 years of experience; 6 years with Master's Degree; OR 4 years with a PhD
Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
Experience designing, implementing and maintaining environments to support Integration and Testing of complex hardware and software systems
Understanding of Hardware and Software testing methodologies
Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Current active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
Preferred Qualifications for Principal / Senior Test Infrastructure Planning Support Systems Engineer:
Current active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Experience with MBSE and Requirements management tools, such as Cameo and DOORS
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing
Experience with Functional and Physical Configuration Audits of I&T environments
Familiarity with Project & Task Management tools: Jira or Confluence
Familiarity with some subset of specialty engineering tools, such as: MATLAB or COMSOL (MODSIM); Docker, Kubernetes, Visual Studio, Python (SW Engineering); Elasticsearch, Grafana, Tableau (Data and visualization); or Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADWS, ANSYS HFSS (Hardware Design); Cadence Assura or Siemens Calebre (Hardware verification)
Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
