Job Description:

What you’ll do:

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Facilitating Scrum Events:

Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives efficiently

Removing Impediments:

Identify and eliminate obstacles hindering team productivity and progress

Coaching and Protecting the Team:

Guide the team in Agile practices, shield them from distractions, and foster self-organization

Monitoring and Communicating Progress:

Track team performance metrics and communicate them to stakeholders

Fostering Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders

What you’ll need:

As a Principal Scrum Master, you will be an expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.  Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.  Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.  Facilitates Agile processes, removes impediments, and aligns the team to iteration goals to improve capabilities and velocity for optimal project delivery.  Organizes Scrum Master Communities of Practice across the enterprise.  Routinely sought advice and guidance regarding agile practices and team implementations. Ability to move flexibly across initiatives and teams as needs of the business require.

What you’ll bring:

Required Experience and Skills:

7+ years’ experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

Desired Education:

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred

Supervisory: No

Our Principal Scrum Master, earns between $141,300 - $237,400 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
