This opportunity will need a resource to do the following:
Stakeholder Engagement and Interagency Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration among federal stakeholders, agency partners, contractors, and vendors.
This role will manage expectations while navigating complex governmental structures and protocols, including briefing federal leadership. We are searching for an advocate for Government Business Processes: Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact to guide and streamline requests, especially those lacking clear ownership, leveraging deep understanding of federal business operations and interagency workflows.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
End-to-End Project Management: Supporting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined quality standards.Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and status reports to guide project execution and ensure alignment with objectives.Stakeholder and Vendor Communication: Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, clients, and vendors to provide project updates, facilitate meetings, and manage expectations.Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution: Ensuring adherence to quality standards by reviewing project deliverables and taking proactive measures to identify, analyze, and resolve any issues or risks.Required Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to federal audiences, including clear, concise briefing materials and formal government correspondenceRequired expertise in federal government operations, regulations, and emerging public sector trends and technologies.Ability to apply strategic insight to solve complex challenges unique to government environmentsStrong PowerPoint and storytelling skills.Strong organizational and project management skills, including familiarity with federal project management methodologies such as PMBOK or Agile adapted for government use.Intermediate Excel capabilities.Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.7+ years of related experience in federal government operationsDesired Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.Our Principal Project/Program Manager's earn between $130,700 - $196,100.
