Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Principal Project Management (Infrastructure Management) to join our team! This position will be located on site in Melbourne, Florida.
Description:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages escorting based on schedules and prepares status reports using program tools such as confluence. Assesses project issues and recommends resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
This position oversees and manages the facilities projects and construction activities for the Program and serves as liaison between program and other team members in the Facilities organization.Gather, review, and finalize requirements data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and coordinates shipping of hardware as necessaryUtilizing program gathered requirements, verify that the design for buildings, structures, and other facilities meet the capabilities required within the estimated costCoordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawingsPrepare documentation for leadership reviewTrack and review costs, including design, construction, and other related costs for each projectManage and execute multiple facilities projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentForecast and report on project status, including key project metrics for Risk, Cost, and ScheduleProduce and implement risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans as requiredIdentifies any task that will require special inspection and coordinates with customer and facilitiesBasic Qualifications:
A minimum of high school diploma or GED and 8 years of combined project management, project management, or management experience OR a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in project management, project management, or management experience OR Master’s Degree and 4 year of experience in project management, project management, or management experienceYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the CompanyAbility to communicate effectively and clearly to present technical approaches and findingsExperience working with subject matter experts, engineers, and program leads to ensure collection of data is accurate and timelyUnderstanding of the change management processProficient in MS project, Microsoft Office software applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPreferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret Security ClearanceBachelor’s DegreeKnowledge of construction for classified areasPMP CertificationDemonstrated capability to perform assignments on time and within budgetProfessional writing skills and the ability to communicate with various levels of leadership to include presentation skills#AS-FA3
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
