Principal Product Manager - Performance Solutions Delivery Architecture

The Principal Product Manager – Performance Solutions Delivery Architecture is responsible for discovery, strategy, success metrics, planning, launch, and optimization of the client solutioning process from their legacy Performance Solution to FactSet Performance Solution (FPS).  These legacy Performance Solutions include many market solutions, including (but not limited to) SS&C Sylvan, SS&C Anova, Eagle Performance, Confluence StatPro, etc – but will also include clients transitioning from FactSet B-One to FPS.   

 

This person will represent FactSet as a Performance Subject Matter Expert in client engagements during the solution creation phase of the sales & onboarding lifecycle, which begins during the sales process (pre-contract) and extends throughout the implementation.  This person will work heavily across Product, Sales, Enterprise Hosting, Portfolio Services, Professional Services, and Support Services. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Client Engagement and Solution Design: 

Serve as the Performance Subject Matter Expert in new sales opportunities, particularly for complex, multi-component Performance product sales. 

Partner with Sales, Professional Services, and Managed Services to thoroughly understand client requirements through Product Assessments & Solutions Workshops. 

Design and document Performance solutions tailored to client business requirements. 

Partner with Professional Services to develop and advise on the optimal approach to prioritizing implementation phases. 

 

Solution Documentation and Implementation Support: 

Produce comprehensive solution design documents to guide the Professional Services team in crafting Statements of Work (SOW) for implementation. 

Establish and document a prioritized gap list for clients, aligned with the implementation timeline and plan, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged. 

 

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

Work closely with various internal teams (Product, Sales, Enterprise Hosting, Portfolio Services, Professional Services, and Support Services) to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts in client solutioning and implementation. 

Communicate with various Product teams across Performance and other functional areas to translate client use cases and requirements into actionable product enhancements which are needed as part of the solution design. 

Maintain continuous communication with clients throughout the solutioning and implementation phases to ensure alignment and satisfaction. 

  

QUALIFICATIONS 

Extensive experience as a Performance Subject Matter Expert, preferably with hands-on experience in transitioning clients from legacy solutions such as SS&C Sylvan, SS&C Anova, Eagle Performance, Confluence StatPro, and FactSet B-One to new performance solutions. 

Strong background in leading client workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design. 

Proven ability to create detailed and actionable solution design documents and implementation plans. 

Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams and manage complex projects, inspiring several cross-functional teams to deliver on the product solution and vision without direct authority.  

Bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, economics, or other relevant field, or equivalent experience  

12+ years relevant experience

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. 

The budgeted amount range for this position in California, Colorado, Connecticut and New York City is $136,000 - $170,000
