The EU AMZL Fleet Planning, Analytics (FPA) operates within Global Fleet & Products (GFP), and is responsible for the EU AMZL fleet requirement definition to source Armada/Rentals, short-term deployment scheduling, business intelligence and analytics support, with the North Star to scale fleet capacity efficiently. By Peak 2023, EU AMZL will achieve a fleet size of 46K vans (Armada 70%, Rental 30%), +13% YoY, [2021-23] CAGR +24%, with a Supply Over Demand of 1.1K/3%, -7.7K/-2,750bps YoY and a FY utilization growth target of +400bps YoY.
The Fleet Demand planners within FPA team, are comparable to other companies’ “Demand Planner” profiles, but facing the peculiar challenges to integrate upstream planning cycles, e.g. from SCOT/Top Line to LTP/TL disaggregation, from MRP to DA Labour Plan (LPT) and DSP diversification planning, to create demand plans for diesel (ICE), Electric Vehicles (EV), Long/Short Wheel Base (LWB/SWB) vans requirements across Europe for long (+3y) and medium term (
