Do you want to help +1MM Selling Partners price over 100MM ASIN’s and delight customers with sharp and competitive prices across 70% of Amazon EU GV’s?
Amazon's EU 3P Pricing team is looking for an exceptionally talented Principal Product Manager to define, organize and execute our pricing roadmap to ensure Amazon's customers get a great price on each and every product on our store, while also helping our Selling Partners grow their business.
This role has a broad, high impact scope and is highly visible within the EU organization. Your interactions and relationships will span a broad group of regional and global stakeholders, functions, and regions. You will be a voice of EU 3P Pricing and be considered a go-to subject matter expert by senior stakeholders and other team members. This role requires sound business judgment and an ability to think strategically in a quick-paced, ambiguous setting. The ideal candidate is independent and flexible with excellent written and verbal communication skills; is customer and seller obsessed and has extensive experience working with product and data; has a high attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Finally, the right person has a natural ability to build trust, communicate excellently with cross-functional teams, and can influence senior leaders and organization wide policies
Key job responsibilities
1. Create and own pricing/technical roadmaps across the EU stores
2. Manage complex P&C workstreams across Pricing and Regulatory workstreams
3. Liaise with our technical pricing teams in Seattle and India to continuously innovate and improve how pricing systems work for our EU business
4. Define strategic frameworks while balancing both Customer, Selling Partner and Regulatory needs. Driving projects to ensure that the prices seen on Amazon’s website are competitive.
5. Ensure Amazon Worldwide Pricing Vision is reflected across the EU
6. Represent EU Pricing voice on EU and worldwide initiatives
7. Drive innovation by supporting the business on key strategic initiatives across the EU to build long-term customer trust
8. Own and participate in executive reviews, communicating complex findings and ideas clearly to senior leadership stakeholders through strong critical thinking and an aptitude for problem-solving.
9. Identify and implement new capabilities and best practices to develop and improve pricing processes across all EU online stores
10. Collaborate with business, product and engineering teams WW, to define, scope, schedule, test and deploy prioritized projects.

A day in the life
You will simultaneously dive deep into the tactical details of each initiative leveraging your exceptional data analytics skills, as well as set a broad strategic vision for execution and scale. Drawing on strong curiosity, you will shape strategic innovation by equipping project teams with the right insights into pricing. You will partner with cross-functional teams (product and program management, legal, business intelligence, software engineers, and international partners) to prioritize, inform and analyze our pricing programs and strategy. You will regularly deliver program updates and strategic plans to senior leadership.
About the team
The EU 3P Pricing team ensures that Amazon’s customers see the most competitive prices across Amazon’s EU stores, drives positive price perception for customers across EU while helping Selling partners set sharp prices across their selection and grow their business. In a very real way, we impact our customers and sellers every day.
The position can be based in Luxembourg , London, Paris, Munich, Milan, Madrid.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, statistics, economics, business and/or relevant field of study.
- Numerous years of Product Management, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or Consulting roles that have included extensive quantitative analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including an ability to communicate with cross functional teams (technical and business) and senior stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
- Core Program and Project Management skills (regular updates, Program flashes, data audits, review meetings, process audits).
- Demonstrated experience in leading analysis, customer segmentation, and/or product behavior analysis.
- Pricing Experience
- An inherent learn and be curious nature, willing to jump into unexplored topics.
