Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Partner Business Consultant to join our Channel Sales team. You will manage the relationship between Autodesk and a large, strategic Solution Provider, and will be accountable for developing the strategy for growth, investments, and driving new business opportunities with and through this partner.

You will report to the Director of Channel Sales. This position is remote but should be in the Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy to drive revenue growth

Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop joint business plans, set targets/milestones, measure results, and implement effective sales and marketing strategies

Understands partners' business, finances, and organizational structure

Ensures common vision between Autodesk and partners

Works with partners to help identify areas of investment and supports execution

Conducts business reviews to evaluate performance, track, and report on key performance metrics, such as revenue generated through partnerships, partner pipelines and identify areas for improvement to drive mutual success

Oversees contractual requirements with partners

Provide training and enablement resources to partners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell our products and services

Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes

Work closely with internal teams, including sales, technical, marketing, customer success, and product, to align partner activities with overall company objectives

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in partner management, business consulting, strategy, finance, or closely related role within a complex, matrixed organization.

Demonstrated the ability to assess and influence partner business performance using strong financial acumen, including P&L analysis, forecasting, investment prioritization, and ROI evaluation.

Proven track record of driving outcomes through influence rather than authority, including aligning senior stakeholders with competing priorities across internal teams and external partners.

Experience advising executive-level leaders, with the credibility and judgement to challenge assumptions and shape strategic decisions.

History of managing and leading through complexity, including navigating organizational change, and evolving partner models.

Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to distill complex topics into concise, compelling narratives for senior audiences.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $184,894 and $285,450. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
