The Principal Cyber Security Flood System Test team member will be responsible for the execution of expert level system testing methodologies of relevant software code in a consistent manner for the Flood Security Platform while adhering with all AT&T/industry testing and security best practices.
Principal Cyber Security – Flood System Test Team Responsibilities
Independently responsible for the entire QA testing lifecycle of assigned software development projects or features including the autonomous identification, evaluation and reporting of software development defects and/or security vulnerabilities with a duty to ensure that security, reliability, and performance standards are met. – 50%Work with team members and adjacent teams on development, operations, and platform related tasks. – 20%Perform complex and precise troubleshooting to pinpoint root causes for reported issues. – 15%Serve as the technical escalation point for lower-level test team members and adjacent teams. – 10%Generate reports. create release notes documentation, contribute to team metrics – 5%Required Skills:
5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experienceDemonstrated advanced experience working with an object-oriented programming language (Python) and associated technologies (eg. Spring/JMX/JDBC)Ability to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in software prior to code deployments.5+ years of experience in the Hadoop ecosystem and related technologies (HBase, Hive 3, HDFS, Spark)Knowledge of modern QA testing methodologies, automation, and tools.Solid understanding of Linux Operating system, Shell scripting, OS troubleshootingKnowledge of/about well-known networking protocols and services (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, LDAP, etc.)Familiarity with agile methodologies, e.g. SCRUMBasic understanding of Cloud architecture & technologiesAbility to provide on-the-job training and knowledge sharing to other developers.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and communication skills.Required Experience & Educational Combination:
PhD in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earns between $180,200.00 - 225,300.00 USD Annual Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
