We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Lead Systems Technical Trainer based out of Tampa, FL.

What You’ll get to Do
Responsibilities
Lead a Training Team of 5 individuals to currently include a Media Production Analyst, Technical Trainers, an Engineer, and an Administrator
Collaborate with Cyber Systems Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify specific training needs and develop solutions
Enhance system User Experience (UX) through developer advocacy, utilizing feedback to champion developer needs and improve overall usability of technical products
Identify the best approach to training requirements including, but not limited to hardware, software, simulations, job aids, microlearning, articles, videos, course assessment, and computer assisted and adaptive learning environments
Develop range of instructional materials and products for technology-based courses, including online, immersive and performance support (e.g., self-paced guides, job aids, and scenario-based storyboards)
Design and develop curricula to support program implementation across targeted audiences.
Demonstrate and utilize effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills
Create and analyze assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities, including knowledge checks
Support train-the-trainer to qualify others for content delivery
Adapt and present material to various knowledge levels through excellent written and verbal communication
Basic Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline plus 5 years of relevant work experience
Master of Science Degree in a relevant field or STEM discipline plus 3 years of relevant work experience
9 years of relevant work experience in a relevant field or STEM discipline with at least 3 years as a technical instructor/teacher may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
US Citizenship
Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance to be considered. TS/SCI clearance must be in place by the start date and must stay in place through employment.
Demonstrated ability to present technical material to an audience
Experience developing e-learning (e.g. computer-based, web-based training, online learning) that is delivered through a Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Experience teaching (will consider military instructor experience) including designing and developing formal course curriculums, establishing workforce development training needs, developing goals and objectives and developing training programs
Ability to develop and maintain operational procedures, products, and training materials
Experience in selecting appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstration-performance, problem-based learning, student-centered learning, and guided discussion
Provide effective communication across multi-functional teams, stakeholders and end users
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, Atlassian Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, etc.)
Managed end‑to‑end LMS configuration, and maintenance for enterprise‑scale training programs, leveraging tools like Smart Courses for Confluence or Moodle to meet compliance and learning objectives.
Experience instructing via a VTC (virtual teleconference) platform
Familiarity and practice use with Linux distributions and CLI tools such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Compose, and systemd
Strong understanding of virtualized machines (VMware vCenter)
Experience instructing at Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) schools is a plus

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
