A Day in the LifeThe preferred working location for this role is the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota; however, the individual may also work from another US-based Medtronic facility. Additional work locations may include:

This position demands a self-motivated individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills who can contribute in a team environment. This candidate must be able to create and present risks and mitigations to Senior Management. The candidate required to lead testing efforts for multiple SAP/Non SAP projects.
Looking for someone who can Lead, plan, coordinate, execute, and provide continuous improvement of processes for end to end Integration testing/Performance/Regression/Unit testing. This person will establish QA standards, guidelines, technologies, and approaches for the projects and for the testing COE team.
Other day to day work involves leading and coordinating onsite and offshore testing team activities, actively participating in development and execution of test processes, strategies, and plans, working with Automation Lead to reduce regression test cycles with goal of 100% automation, and working with the business, technical project development teams, and project managers to establish project development schedules implement test plans to deliver high quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement enterprise testing strategy, governance, and best practices leveraging the Tricentis suite (Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, Vera, etc.).
Drive end-to-end test automation using Tosca for UI, API, and SAP systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Good experience in Vera administration for digital validation and compliance documentation to ensure audit readiness.
Lead performance and load testing initiatives using NeoLoad to optimize system stability and responsiveness.
Promote adoption of AI-driven self-healing and Vision AI capabilities to reduce maintenance effort and increase automation reliability.
Integrate Tricentis tools with CI/CD pipelines (Jira, LiveCompare) for continuous testing and faster releases.
Oversee training, certification, and enablement programs to build Tricentis expertise across teams.
Monitor testing effectiveness through KPIs and dashboards, driving continuous improvement and ROI from automation investments.
Ensure all testing and validation processes adhere to GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), and internal quality standards.
Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Support test automation frameworks and execution pipelines using Tosca.
Provide technical support to users, addressing tool-related issues and collaborating with IT and vendors for complex resolutions.
Assist QA teams with test case creation, execution, and reporting within qTest and Tosca.
Ensure Vera workflows, electronic signatures, and audit trails meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and other compliance standards.
Collaborate with QA, validation, compliance, and development teams to align testing with regulatory and business needs.
Develop and deliver training sessions for teams to maximize tool utilization and adoption.
Create and maintain user guides, troubleshooting documentation, and best practices.
Stay updated on new features and updates for Tricentis tools and recommend improvements to optimize workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience leading a testing COE team.
Able to quickly identify and understand issues.
Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Able to collaborate with business partners, developers, and various support teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues.
Experience in executing and leading test automation for S4 migration project.
Knowledge of Jira, ALM, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Jira, ALM, or other project management tools.
Proven experience on testing tools such as Tricentis tools (qTest, Tosca) and compliance tools like Vera.
Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and test management principles.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
Previous experience in a regulated industry, such as MedTech or Pharma.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Strong experience developing and implementing test plans, QA processes and methodologies.
Strong experience performing manual and automation testing.
Experience with automation framework and tools.
Strong experience in test data and environment setup for end to end testing.
