Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst (Level 3) to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located at the Roy, UT campus. This position is supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division.

Roles and Responsibilities

This principal financial analyst is responsible for managing the performance of multiple programs within the Advanced programs portfolio. This role has a large focus on finance but the applicant will also need to be able to perform basic cost management actions to support PMs and CAMs with their monthly forecasting along with items like network setup and overall contract management. The applicant will also be asked to support proposals if needed along with more financial focused scope such as AOP/LRSP and Qtrly EAC reviews.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years professional work experience; Master’s Degree and 3 years professional work experience; or PhD with 1 year experience. A High School Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted with an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degreeMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearanceExperience with S4 and CognosExperience in Financial ReportingExperience with AOP/LRSP processExperience with Monthly and quarterly financial forecast updatesExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and Teams

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
