Principal ER Manager, PXT Employee Experience and Relations
Description Based on experience and knowledge in labor management and employee relations, we support HR functions and business activities within the Operations. Our scope covers nationwide fulfillment centers and delivery stations, focusing on improving employee experiences, preventing and resolving labor issues, and implementing training programs at each location. We also leverage IT technology to identify potential workplace trends and risks, working to improve the work environment and create an employee-friendly workplace. Our workforce structure is similar to manufacturing, logistics, and retail industries, comprising annual salary employees, hourly part-time workers, temporary staff, and contract workers. We collaborate closely with overseas Employee Relations (ER) teams to improve operational efficiency and share best practices. Key job responsibilities - Investigation of workplace labor incidents (Supporting HRBP investigations) - Providing counseling and advisory support to HRBPs on labor case management - Handling labor-related issues - Collection and analysis of employee feedback - Planning and implementation of employee training (harassment prevention, investigations, etc.) Role responsibilities will be adjusted based on your experience and skills. A day in the life Daily meetings with HRBPs and related departments (Legal, Security, PR, etc.). Business travel to locations nationwide may be required. Work Style: Flexible working hours *No core time requirement, 8 working hours per day. Working hours can be adjusted in consultation with your manager based on business needs and personal circumstances. Work-life balance is prioritized, allowing for alternative working hours if daytime work is difficult due to personal circumstances. About the team Established in 2022, our team currently consists of 4 members (Team leader has 20+ years of HR and Legal experience in a major Japanese manufacturing company). The ER team will enter an expansion phase from 2025 due to business growth. We are creating a new style of labor management in Japan while incorporating global best practices. We are seeking team members who are interested in joining this challenging initiative. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Minimum 12 years of experiences in HR, Legal, or related functions; or possession of attorney credentials - Business-level English and full professional proficiency in Japanese - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications - At least seven (7) years direct experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on labor and employee relations work - Team player with strong written and oral communication skills; excellent public speaker - Highly analytical thinker and problem solver - Acts with sense of urgency, bias for action, fast pace, and desire to thrive in a dynamically growing environment - Experience in coaching senior leaders, managers and HR professionals - Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams - Exceptional listening skills; ability work well across functions to integrate HR and business strategies, to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization - Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture. ※賃金に関する条件は、1次面接時までに個別通知いたします。Detailed salary condition will be notified individually prior to the 1st interview.
