Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to support the RQ-4 Enterprise under the Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Targeting (AISR&T) Business Unit. This role is in **Rancho Bernardo (San Diego), California** . The selected candidate will be assigned to the RQ-4 Mission Assurance Program Manager (MAPM) providing direct support under the TRMC (Range Hawk) MA IPT lead. **Essential Job Functions:** Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance. **Duties to include but are not limited to:** + Perform Engineering Design and document peer reviews + Represents Mission Assurance leadership in program meetings + Lead/facilitate Root Cause Corrective Actions as the responsible program MA engineer + Support as Deputy/sub-IPT lead for TRMC (Range Hawk) + Engage as a business facing program MA engineer + Interface with customer and government (DCMA) on Quality matters **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years relevant experience. + 2+ years performing MRB, qualified in the Quality role + 2+ years facilitating/leading Root Cause Corrective Actions + Currently hold an U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain + Must have the ability to travel ~10% of the time **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in Autonomous (Unmanned) or Aerospace programs + Experience with AS9100D standard + Experience in a business facing role + Experience interfacing directly with customer / DCMA + Experience with EVMS, Earned Value Management System as a Cost Account Manager; perform CAM duties + Experience with TeamCenter and Crucible + Ample knowledge facilitating/leading Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations utilizing CPATS tool Primary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
