Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to support the RQ-4 Enterprise under the Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Targeting (AISR&T) Business Unit. This role is in Rancho Bernardo (San Diego), California. The selected candidate will be assigned to the RQ-4 Mission Assurance Program Manager (MAPM) providing direct support under the TRMC (Range Hawk) MA IPT lead.
Essential Job Functions:
Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.

Perform Engineering Design and document peer reviewsRepresents Mission Assurance leadership in program meetingsLead/facilitate Root Cause Corrective Actions as the responsible program MA engineerSupport as Deputy/sub-IPT lead for TRMC (Range Hawk)Engage as a business facing program MA engineerInterface with customer and government (DCMA) on Quality mattersBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years relevant experience.2+ years performing MRB, qualified in the Quality role2+ years facilitating/leading Root Cause Corrective ActionsCurrently hold an U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintainMust have the ability to travel ~10% of the timePreferred Qualifications:
