Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Database Administrator (DBA) for their Beavercreek Ohio facility. This DBA will be an active part of a team of Database Administrators who will share in the administration of Neo4j, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, etc. This environment includes ever growing opportunities with modernization such as Cloud technologies and DevOps CI/CD pipelines. This candidate will be planned to support a production environment on site at National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base once properly cleared to support mission critical needs. NASIC is responsible for creating all-source intelligence defining the present and future air, air defense, cyber, space and ballistic missile threats to enable military operations, force modernization, and policy making.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ experience OR a master’s degree with 3 years' experience OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeMinimum of 5 years of experience with Database AdministrationMust obtain an IAT Level II certification such as Security+CE or SecurityX (formerly CASP+) within 90 days of hiringU.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearanceCandidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearanceExperience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, GitLab, etc.Experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, or MongoDB, or graph Database administrationExperience with Apache, NGINX, or JBoss Server administrationExperience with scripting using tools such as Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.Active CompTIA or SecurityX or Security+ certificationPrimary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
