The Principal Data/AI Engineer will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between data engineering and analytics, enabling data-driven decision making across the organization. This position is ideal for a candidate passionate about designing robust data and analytics infrastructure and streamlining business data processes.
**What you’ll do**
+ Lead initiatives to explore, profile, and catalog new and existing data sources, by partnering with business and technical teams to identify valuable datasets and uncover opportunities for enhanced data utilization
+ Develop and maintain scalable, reliable data architecture, pipelines, and transformation workflows to support advanced analytics and reporting
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to map, document, and optimize data-related business processes creating clear, user-friendly documentation for data models, data flows, and data governance practices
+ Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and materials to educate users on data and tools, best practices, and data literacy
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for data-related questions across the organization
**What you’ll need**
+ Strong experience with SQL, data m{todeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
+ Proficiency with analytics engineering tools (e.g., dbt, Looker, Tableau).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and training.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Experience in data discovery, profiling, and cataloging tools.
+ A passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

earns between $174,100 - $261,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. In0dividual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
