Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst or Senior Principal Cybersecurity Analyst based out of Boulder, CO.
Essential Functions
Northrop Grumman Corporation is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to provide information assurance and system administration support for a complex, heterogeneous processing system. Primary duties include RMF cybersecurity engineering, monitoring, and reporting. The candidate must be able to work as a member of a small, highly skilled team in a dynamic environment.
Typical tasks include
Participating in system and network hardening activitiesPerforming IA controls assessmentsUpdating eMASS and writing POAMsSupporting in-house and 3rd party penetration testingParticipating in incident response activitiesReviewing information system security artifacts for accuracy, relevance and complianceProviding general IA guidance to system and software engineersThe Cybersecurity Analyst will work with a team of cybersecurity engineers using knowledge of NIST, DoD, and program requirements to develop, implement, and manage system security solutions. The candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with system end-users, customers, other project engineers and software developers, as well as possess good written and verbal communication skills.

This requisition may be filled as either a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst or a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Analyst.
Principal role salary range: $110,300 - $165,500
Senior Principal role salary range: $137,400 - $206,000
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience; 3 years of related experience with a Master or PhD; 9+ years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Analyst:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience; 6+ years of related experience with a Master; 4+ years of related experience with a PhD; 12+ years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeBasic Qualifications for both roles:
Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearanceFamiliarity with NISPT SP 800-53 and associated family of documentsExperience with writing and maintaining Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) using the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)Familiarity with DoD STIGSActive CompTIA Security+CE or equivalent DoD8570 IAT/IAM II certificationPreferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Salary Range 2: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
